Glycolic Peels – Fresh and Radiant Complexion
Our medical-grade glycolic acid peels are an excellent treatment to aid in exfoliation, cell renewal, fine lines, large pores and acne problems. This treatment will leave you with a fresh and radiant complexion. We will vary the strength of the peel for gradually increased therapy and individual client care.
Glycolic acid penetrates deep into the skin to correct from the inside out; it improves the sebaceous secretions, reduces blackheads and congestion in the skin. This procedure is great for teens, anyone with oily or acneic skin, men and anyone looking for softening of fine lines and glowing complexion.
During this procedure the provider will cleanse the skin, degrease and then apply the peel solution of a pre-determined concentrate (30-70%) to the skin. It will sit on the skin for between 2-10 minutes; treatment times vary as we are looking for a shade of pink. It will feel the most intense for the first minute or so but once the shade of pink is achieved or the maximum time allowance has elapsed, it will neutralize.
